Bibliotherapist™

Who this is for

The clinical pathway is designed for practitioners already qualified, registered, and insured to provide mental health support. Bibliotherapists™ typically include psychotherapists, counsellors, clinical and counselling psychologists, psychiatrists, arts therapists, and mental health social workers.

What you'll typically do

• Offer The Book Therapy Method in your practice
• Select and pace literature for therapeutic depth and safety
• Offer structured frameworks for reflective enquiry and integration
• Work with grief, identity, life transitions, and emotional recovery through text
• Offer group bibliotherapy
• Integrate the method with your existing modality and clinical training

Scope of practice

Bibliotherapists™ work within the scope of their own qualifications, professional registration, and insurance. The training deepens an existing therapeutic practice. It does not in itself confer a licence to provide mental health treatment.
