About
James Morgan is a chartered librarian who has spent the last decade building reading communities across the North West. After noticing how often a quiet book group became the most meaningful hour of someone's week, he trained as a Certified Reading Wellbeing Practitioner™ to deepen that work. He now runs men's reading circles, intergenerational sessions in care homes, and an evening series for newcomers to the city. James believes libraries are some of the last truly democratic spaces we have, and that The Book Therapy Method™ gives ordinary readers a structured, generous way to think alongside one another.
How I use The Book Therapy Method™
I bring The Book Therapy Method™ into community reading sessions, using shared passages and gentle prompts to help groups move from polite chat into honest, reflective conversation — without ever stepping into clinical territory.
