About
I’m an Italian journalist, writer and radio presenter based in the UK. My work focuses on travel, culture, literature and lifestyle, with a particular interest in the connections between places, stories and people. I contribute to Italian publications including Vanity Fair Italia, writing about cultural experiences, travel, books and contemporary life. I’m also the author of *In Inghilterra con Agatha Christie*, a book exploring the places, landscapes and stories connected to one of Britain’s most beloved writers. I host *Il Segnalibro* on London One Radio, the first Italian radio station in England, where I interview writers and explore books not only as stories to be read, but as companions through different moments of our lives. My current focus is on bringing bibliotherapy into the programme, exploring how literature can help us navigate emotions, difficult moments, change and self-discovery. I’m interested in the idea of books as a form of emotional landscape: stories that can make us feel understood, offer new perspectives and sometimes simply remind us that we are not alone.
How I use The Book Therapy Method™
I apply The Book Therapy Method through my work as a journalist and radio presenter. On *Il Segnalibro*, my programme on London One Radio, I recommend books in response to different emotions, life experiences and personal challenges, exploring how literature can provide comfort, insight and new perspectives. I also share reading recommendations and literary reflections on social media, using these platforms to encourage conversations about books, emotions and wellbeing. My aim is to develop the idea of the “literary prescription” as an accessible way of connecting people with books that may speak to what they are experiencing at a particular moment in their lives.
